Dermal Filler for Wrinkle Reduction and Volume Restoration

Radiesse: Rejuvenate your face without surgery

Turn back the clock and reclaim your youthful glow with the power of Radiesse.

What is Radiesse?

Radiesse is a non-surgical treatment option that is used to smooth out wrinkles and add volume to the skin. It is injected into the mid to deep layers of the skin using a fine needle.

It is a safe and effective treatment that has been widely used for many years. There is minimal downtime associated with the procedure, and most people are able to return to their normal activities immediately after treatment.

How Does Radiesse work?

Radiesse is an injectable dermal filler that is made of calcium-based microspheres suspended in a water-based gel. When injected into the skin, the gel helps to smooth out wrinkles and add volume to the treatment area.

The calcium-based microspheres in Radiesse stimulate the production of collagen, a protein that is found in the skin and helps to give it structure and support. As the body produces more collagen, the skin becomes firmer and more youthful-looking.

What to expect

The procedure is relatively quick, usually taking about 30 minutes or less. Radiesse is designed to look and feel natural, so the results are subtle and not overly noticeable.

The patient comes to the consultation and is evaluated by our specialists, who, after an analysis of the muscles of your face, and based on your concern will recommend the amount and areas to be treated.

An adequate skin cleansing is performed, removing makeup and impurities. Then a marking is made on the areas of the face where the filler will be applied, we’ll apply topic anesthesia to the sites where you’ll be injected, and subsequently, the product is injected in the established dosage.

Radiesse procedures can take as long as 30 minutes, depending on how many injections you need. Our staff is trained and has certified experience to provide you with the best results.

Radiesse Results Duration

The effects of Radiesse can last for several months to over a year, depending on the individual's skin and the specific treatment area. This means that you can enjoy a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance for a longer period of time without the need for repeated treatments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Radiesse safe?

Radiesse is generally considered a safe and effective treatment option for wrinkle reduction and volume restoration. It has been widely used for many years and has a good safety record. However, as with any medical procedure, there are potential risks and side effects associated with Radiesse, and it is important to discuss these with your practitioner before proceeding with treatment.

How long does it last?

Like all injectable dermal fillers, Radiesse is a temporary treatment that eventually fades. However, the active ingredient in Radiesse has been shown to help stimulate collagen production, allowing it to last longer than hyaluronic acid-based fillers. The effects of Radiesse last 9 to 12 months.

Is Radiesse painful?

Radiesse is typically injected using a fine needle, which may cause some discomfort. However, most patients do not find the procedure to be painful. Your practitioner may use a topical numbing cream or ice to minimize any discomfort.

Can Radiesse be used to treat wrinkles on any part of the face?

Radiesse is commonly used to treat wrinkles and volume loss on the face, including the cheeks, temples, and around the mouth. However, it may not be suitable for all areas of the face, and your practitioner will be able to advise you on the best treatment option for your specific concerns.

What are the side effects of Radiesse?

The most common side effects of Radiesse are mild and tend to resolve on their own within a few days to a week. These may include:

  • Swelling and redness at the injection site
  • Mild bruising
  • Itching or rash
  • Pain or tenderness at the injection site

Less common side effects of Radiesse may include:

  • Lumps or bumps under the skin
  • Asymmetry or unevenness in the treatment area
  • Discoloration of the skin
  • Allergic reaction

In rare cases, more serious side effects may occur, such as infection or nerve damage.
