Veronica earned her master’s degree in nursing, after completing the family nurse practitioner program at Florida Atlantic University in 2009. Prior to earning her master’s degree, Veronica earned her bachelor’s of science in nursing, also at Florida Atlantic University. Both degrees were awarded Magna Cum Laude.

Laser Skin Therapy can take from 5 minutes to 1 hour. The duration of each treatment depends on the body part being treated or the Laser modality used.
Not all Laser Skin Treatment requires downtime. However, patients requiring high energy settings, like for example Acne Scar, will need some downtime. The medical provider providing will discuss all the details for each treatment. Independently of what is being treated one detail holds true, NO SUN EXPOSURE AFTER.

The Laser Medical Provider will guide the patient through entire process including post procedure instructions. First, a topical anesthesia will be applied to the location being treated for 10 to 20 minutes. Protection goggles will be giving to each patient and once the location is cleansed the treatment begins.
